Pues arrancó la gira de U2 como ha comentado Tone en la canción del día, con un escenario de 360º que prometía ser una maravilla oiga. Aquí os pongo algunos de los vídeos que están saliendo en youtube grabados en el concierto de ayer…

Craig Armstrong + Liz Fraser: This Love
Graig Armstrong es un reputado compositor y arreglista escocés autor de las bandas sonoras de Moulin Rouge o Elizabeth la edad de oro. También ha elaborado emocionantes arreglos orquestales para grupos como U2, Massive attack, Suede, Hole, Pet shop Boys o Madonna.
De vez en cuando saca algún lp con canciones. Este tema aparece en su lp de 1998 “The space between us” y le acompaña la delicada voz de Liz Fraser (cantante de Cocteau Twins, grupo clave de los 80).
Canción del día: Cole Porter – Night and day
Cole Porter (1891-1964) fue uno de los mejores compositores del siglo XX. Sus canciones para los musicales de Broadway y la época dorada de Hollywood son míticas: I’ve got you under my skin, Night and day, Begin the beguin, etc
Gente como Sinatra, Ella fitzgeral, Charlie Parker, Diana Krall, Fred Astaire y Ginger Rogers han cantado (o bailado) sus temas. Para los más jóvenes, El tema Anything goes es el que abre Indiana Jones y el templo maldito y hasta U2 destrozó Night and day.
